BlogPaws 2011 - the 3rd Social Media Conference for pet bloggers, people and pets on Facebook and Twitter. A great way to connect with brands and share all things pet.
Join us for educational sessions on how to be more effective with social media, how to publish a book, how to monetize your blog, how to network, and how to work with brands.

Katharine that isn't too bad of a drive w/2 people to share the driving. That is great that you have someone to ride with!
It will be wonderful to meet all of the newbies, we all have so much to learn! Can't wait to meet Audrey, love the name of her blog, it is so cute!

@Caren somehow I missed your question earlier ... I am coming from Rochester, NY. According to Google maps it is about a 7 hour drive ... still deciding if we are leaving super early in the AM or coming on Wednesday night ... there are pluses/minuses to both.
My friend Audrey is coming with me ... she is in the process of starting her own pet blog under the name of: http://www.tailsofapuppaccino.com and will be tweeting under @puppaccino soon as well ... she is hoping to have it up and running by Blog Paws.
We are both Blog Paws newbies and look forward to the Newbie meet-up and all the other networking opportunities. I know we will both benefit greatly from both the workshops and from the new friends we will make. Especially all you experienced pet bloggers!

First I was going, then I wasn't going, and now I am here to officially report ..ta-dah....I am going to be at Tyson's Corner, VA for BlogPaws2011. Phew it was touch 'n go there for awhile, but it's all working out. Looking forward to meeting the whole BlogPaws Team, and especially Yvonne. And Yvonne you know why. I am also a newbie, and suggest all newbies get together at some point for a cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage...and exchange business cards, email addresses, etc. Will probably want to keep in touch, right?!! @Caren - great idea. I need a tshirt with my graphics on it, too. I'll work on that - and if nothing else, I'll wear my Spay & Neuter Your Pets, and your Weird Friends and Relatives, Too t-shirt.
