Facebook Page Swap

Okay we have the Twitter list at http://community.blogpaws.com/group/blogtalk/forum/topics/community... and you can find other Blog Paws Community members who use Stumble Upon at http://community.blogpaws.com/group/blogtalk/forum/topics/stumbleupon , So now it's time for Facebook.

Add a post with the link to your Facebook Page and then go through the other posts to "Like" other community members pages. Be sure to check back for new members to follow!

Ok...will someone PLEASE tell me how I can subscribe to facebook pages that don't have a "LIKE" button. Can it be done from a "page" or does it have to be my personal account?

Mary - I've never seen a Facebook page without a Like button.  Do you think you were at a profile?  If so, you can subscribe (if they have that set up) or send them a Friend request.

I must have been on a personal profile. The option to send a friend request isn't there if you are using facebook as a "page". Darn!!!

Find me at Doggitude: The Book, a page devoted to my upcoming book for dog lovers (which will feature a couple of BlogPaws "celebs": Roxy the Traveling Dog and BaileyBeGood, among many other endearing dogs!). I post project updates, dog art from the book, announcements, and eventually will be doing book and other Doggitude merchandise giveaways to fans who have Liked the page! If you want to see updates from Doggitude in your news feed, be sure to "Like" with your personal Facebook identity, not your Page ID.

Mary, 

Most likely it was someone's personal profile that they use for their blog. I will admit, I've not been sending friend requests for them. I like to keep my personal FB account personal for friends and family. Not that I post anything exciting or private, just that it's my own little space.

I agree, Dawn. My personal profile and my FB fan page are separate, so I don't send friend requests re: my blog.

How do you set the page so others can post. I am having so much toruble with Facebook ...for some reason this site totally is confusing me.
