Comment by Deborah TaylorFrench on April 28, 2013 at 11:37am Kathy, you know more words than I do and I have been here about a week. People here do throw out the trash. I just don't know who picks it up. Actually the city is way clean for 15 million people, not counting another few million visitors (a day?).
Comment by Kathy H Porter on April 28, 2013 at 10:38am A very long time ago, my family lived in Izmir, Turkey for 3 years, which is why I can count from 1 -4 in Turkish and can say, "Throw out your trash!" in Turkish as well.
Comment by Deborah TaylorFrench on April 27, 2013 at 11:29am So far, I have not seen anything as tragic as the USA killing millions per year. Most people here seem to like both cats and dogs. Roaming free or pet I have yet to see any fighting between either species. And I have seen food and water left even for those hated pigeons.

Deborah - thanks for sharing about the dogs. That's always a question on my mind, but I'm afraid to ask just in case conditions are awful.
Comment by Deborah TaylorFrench on April 27, 2013 at 11:06am Yes, AMAZING with an emphasis on the ZING part! The Turkish people we meet both on this business trip and on the street, have been wonderfully warm, helpful and hardworking.
I've been taking hundreds of photographs. Only a few dogs, mostly free roaming street dogs that seem to sleep peacefully in parks and on sidewalks. The other 1/4 of dogs I see are purebred, well-groomed and being walked rapidly out of my sight. Plan to read your book tomorrow and write a blog post.
Comment by Ian Thomson on April 27, 2013 at 11:00am Hi Kimberly, When do you need the review in by I've not got a kindle so I've downloaded it to my Android phone. I will read it later.
Comment by Kimberly Gauthier on April 27, 2013 at 10:54am Thank you so much, Kathy, Dawn and Deborah. Kathy - I emailed you. Deborah - sounds like you're having an AMAZING time!
Comment by Kathy H Porter on April 27, 2013 at 6:38am Kimberly - one of the the things you can do (it requires that you add a second "last page" to the digital version of your book, is to add a paragraph asking your readers to leave a review up on Amazon. (It's done quite a bit in a eBooks - I might be able to find a sample wording for you - and of course, you include a link to your books' review page in that section.....I'm not quite sure how that part works, but I've seen it done.
PS You might not want to do this right away, but what it requires is that you upload and resubmit your revised content to Amazon. Give this some thought because you might want to add a section of content after you've gotten some feedback from folks who are reviewing your book.....Or not.
I read the original and loved it. I got the revised version for Amazon, but just need a little bit of time to read it. Been busy working OT, but will take some time this weekend to read it and get a review up!
Comment by Deborah TaylorFrench on April 27, 2013 at 12:51am Kimberly plus All on this discussion list,
I love what Kimberly has written, I am reading and am so grateful to read this book on to stand out in a popular niche. This is exactly the tips and info. I have been needing for awhile.
I am 10 hours ahead of PST and hope to get to a review post by late this afternoon. We are in Istambul and seeing the sites. I confuse I have been madly snapping photos and trying not to let my mouth hang open. I am so loving the Turkish people we meet. We shared a meal with a man who is working on humanitarian mental health PTSD projects on the Syrian boarder.
Kimberly, I do love not only what you have written, I love your strong personable writer's voice, humor and personal POV, I am enjoying how you have organized your subject chapter for easy review.
All pet bloggers and other bloggers please take Kimberly up on her offer then review her book on Amazon. You will be so please that you did. I PROMISE.
