Hey there! I just adopted a pitbull girl from a rescue who was abandoned by her previous owners. It has only been 3 weeks but she has found a super loving home in my heart!

I'm just now spending a little time nosing around the BlogPaws community for the first time. It's about time, right? Rocco came to live with me in December 2012 and he'll have his coming out party at BlogPaws this year! He'll be eight months old on May 16 -- the first day of BlogPaws.

I adopted recently a beautiful and sweet dog, a shih-tzu - The Zurick Yuki. I like him so much. It is regrettable that no one wanted to adopt him, just because he's a senior.

Got a wonderful little kitten from a facebook friend.. His name is Boudreaux but we call him book for short.
He even has his own facebook page to share his adventures.

Hi Carol! Love the new group. It's perfect for us... we just adopted the most lovable kitty! It was a sad day for her real Mom - but when her Mom was told by her Dr that her allergies and other issues would get worse unless she surrendered her kitty, we knew we couldn't let this beautiful girl go to a shelter! (not that shelters are bad... we <3 our shelter!).
We brought her home Sunday afternoon and today, Tuesday, she is very comfortable in our lower level with the gate up. She looks like she wants to venture upstairs but is still a bit shy.
This morning, our Boston Terrier, Olive ventured forth to give Molly a sniff, and Molly gave her a little hiss and a bat with her paw. It was definitely not aggressive... it was more like she said, "I'm not ready to be THAT friendly, yet." LOL
We can't wait for her to be totally comfortable all over the house, ruling the roost...as we know she will.
