Hi Outdoorsy dogs. Sorry it's been so long since we all chatted about something. We have had a couple of snow storms here in Utah. Torrey loves the snow. She is sure it snows just for her pleasure. She was so happy on November 1st. It was her 1 year birthday, and it snowed. Talk about thrilled. She ran and ran and played. Great exercise for her that day.

Roxy on the other hand, is not a fan of the snow. She gets cold easy, and she is a little lower to the ground. Doesn't take much for her to be belly deep in it. What does your dog think of the snow? I know there are some dogs out there who have never seen snow. What do you think?

Oh yeah, you bet!

Chester and Gretel are belly (well, chest) deep in the snow too but they love it! They just plow, plow, plow there little hearts out. They hop too sometimes. It is funny to see them bound of the snow and then disappear just to do it again. When we are snowshoeing though and trying to actually get somewhere I have them walk in the tracks behind me so they don't get so cold and tired.

Mine love it if they can play in it, if we're just out for potty time they hate it. Dasy gets crazy zoomies and loves to stick her head in it. Dingo just wants to run when there's snow on the ground. We got almost 2ft of snow at the end of October, Dasy was swimming in it.

My dog sure does. I don't have any good snow shots because she had her first snow ever, but she truly does love it! My other dog likes it too, but his feet get cut easily on the ice so he has to have paw protection before he can go out. :(
