Here's how the contest worked:
Get your creative juices flowing and your design could be selected for the BlogPaws 2011 Official Conference T-Shirt!
Entries must be received by July 29, 2011.
Note: The contest is open to members of the BlogPaws Community only.
The entry submission form is below, but here are some guidelines:
- The goal of the contest is to select a design that captures the essence of a BlogPaws Conference — you can find inspiration in our original tag line concepts: learning, networking, fun, and giving to pet-related causes, of course, along with a spirit of inclusiveness, mutual assistance, and innovation.
- Rather than fuss with downloading our official logo, please just include the identifying info: "BlogPaws 2011, August 25-27, Tysons Corner, VA" in your design; it will appear on the official conference t-shirt, after all.
- The printing space you have to work within is 10 inches wide by 12 inches high.
- You'll be designing for the front of the shirt only.
- The shirt will be white, so please submit your design with a white background and enough border so we can see how it will look on the shirt.
- Your design may be in full color (4-color printing), but 1 or 2 color designs are fine, too.
- Entry files should be uploaded as print-ready PDFs, or as high-resolution JPG, GIF, or PNG image files (minimum 300 dpi). BUT PLEASE keep your original working files and preserve any layers, since it may become necessary to use those for commercial printing.
- If you have access to vector design tools, like Adobe Illustrator, that's a preferrable starting point, but as long as you can produce high-resolution images at the dimensions intended for printing (i.e., without having to scale them), we should be able to use them.
Picking the winner:
A panel of judges will select the winning design and their decision will be final.
Prizes:
- Infinite honor and glory. ;-D
- A free admission to the conference. (If you're already registered, we can give you another pass to give away on your blog, or refund your ticket price.)
- Recognition at the conference and on BlogPaws.com
- A nifty badge for your blog/site
