Q: What's the BlogPaws Community all about?
A: The Community extends the core missions of our live Conferences & Events online, making the learning, networking, and fun available whenever and wherever youare!
Q: Is there a membership fee?
A: No, a basic membership is free— and always will be. We may offer paid services, such as advanced training courses, or subscription levels for premium content, but we value the wonderful interaction and support our generous members provide each other as much as you do, so that will always be free.
Q: What does my free membership provide?
A: All of the social networking functions that our Ning platform has to offer:
> Connect with friends, make new ones, and invite others to join.
> Link to and/or pull in content from your blog via RSS.
> Participate in Groups and form your own.
> Start and join in discussion topics.
> Share photos, videos, and other content.
> Update your status, comment on others, send private messages.
We bet our current members could add several more cool features to this list!
Q: Are there rules of "netiquette" for this community?
A: Yes! Please review our BlogPaws Editorial Guidelines.
Q: I've heard that BlogPaws has joined the Pet360 family. Will this change the BlogPaws Community?
A: Short answer: NO!
To elaborate a bit: The BlogPaws Team remains in place and we're starting this new phase with the same community members, so there's no reason to expect changes — except for improvements. Going forward, we'll continue growing bigger and stronger, and we want everyone to come along and join the fun. As part of the Pet360 Media family, BlogPaws is upping the “bark” to the next level to help our bloggers nurture their existing relationships and opportunities, while cultivating new ones.
Q: What kind of improvements might be coming?
A: Hmmm, there are many possibilities — some of which haven't been invented yet! ;-D
But here are a couple: Even before talking with Pet360, we've considered moving both the BlogPaws blogsite and community onto a unified WordPress platform. We've long wanted to offer year-around online training, webinars, live-streaming, and more.
Essentially, our combined resources will enable us to bring you more; more support, more content, and more opportunities to grow, learn, monetize, champion your causes, and accomplish the goals you set. (Can you tell we're excited?)
Q: Will the BlogPaws Community merge into the Pet360 Community?
A:Short-ish answer: Only if we (the combined team) are convinced that this would add value to the members of both communities. Stay tuned. "What's in it for our members?" has been the core value behind everything we've done at BlogPaws and it's been embraced (warmly) from our first discussions with the Pet360 team.
Q: Where Can I Learn More about our new Pet360 family?
A: First, please know that BlogPaws.com and our team are now part of the Pet360 family and we'll still be here, as your conference, community, and business resources to help you pursue your passion, education and business interests around pets.
But now, the Pet360 family of websites (including Pet360.com, petMD, PetFoodDirect, DoggySpace, NationalPetPharmacy, and more) are there to assist you — our passionate pet parents, who are committed to making the right decisions for their pets, but appreciate convenient and reliable resources among the volume of "information" available on the web. As a social media enthusiast you can learn about the Pet360 network and media business at Pet360Media.com.
Further, if you are looking for the convenience of buying your pet products online, we invite you to shop at www.pet360.com 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
