Sue at For Love of a Dog said… Thanks so much for your comments and for befriending me! While some may seek "youth" (or _fill-in-the-gap_), I'm looking for that elusive thing: time. :-)
Brenda said… Hi Deborah, I recently read your blog post about "Black Dogs." I had no idea that black dogs rarely get adopted. It hit home with me because I have a beautiful black Labrador & I love black dogs. Their coat is so beautiful & shiny especially when freshly cleaned & they just have a sweet but strong demeanor towards others. I will do my best to spread the news. Thank you again.
Sue Yellen said… Hi Deborah, thanks for reaching out. I created a business/community whose mission was to provide a way of giving back to the less well-funded animal rescues and charities via donating up to 25% of sales (essentially my profit - thank goodness I have a good day job) back to them. I'm including a link to the charities page on my website and hope you will take a look at it and see what we are all about: http://bumperpet.com/charity.php and what we are doing this month for the United States War Dogs Association: http://bumperpet.com/shop/?Charities ... I will need to go to your blog and take a look! I currently blog mostly for ChicagoNow.com. Warmly, Sue
