Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, Tom and I were taking a few well-deserved moments off. We were stretched out on the bed in the master bedroom, watching TV, surrounded by a Boston Terrier (the only dog allowed on the bed) and a fluffy cat.
The cat, mind you, is not altogether pleased with the sudden addition…

While Chester's foot is healing nicely, it isn't without its issues.
Last night, around 12:30 a.m., I was awaken by a rustling around our bed. Pacing...back and forth... it was Chester.
"What's up, buddy?" I asked, only slightly awake.
"I lost my sock," he said, looking me right in the eye.
Ah! He was sockless and I assumed he'd licked his wound raw again.
"How did you lose your sock?" I asked, not really expecting an answer. I swung my feet over the side…

A lot of us spend too much time contemplating the past, instead of working on the future. By that, I mean we spend a lot of time thinking about what we 'coulda' or 'shoulda' done instead of what we can do right now.

PupProtector said… I have reached out to a few weimaraner organizations. It's almost unbearable to see all the lovely dogs that need a home. I'm glad you suggested that because we knew we wanted to donate, but weren't sure what to do.
PupProtector said… Great advice. It's all about the dogs for me, that why I risked my life to save my little angel. We were planning on donating to various organizations, but maybe we need to publicize that more.
