She's in my spot, AGAIN? she said, throwing a deep, dark look my way

The Grumpy Old Lady, resident 19 year old cat, has certain places in our house that are hers, and hers alone. She is also known as…

"Somebody's Gonna Lose An Eye," she said.

Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, Tom and I were taking a few well-deserved moments off. We were stretched out on the bed in the master bedroom, watching TV, surrounded by a Boston Terrier (the only dog allowed on the bed) and a fluffy cat.

The cat, mind you, is not altogether pleased with the sudden addition…

While Chester's foot is healing nicely, it isn't without its issues.

Last night, around 12:30 a.m., I was awaken by a rustling around our bed. Pacing...back and forth... it was Chester.

"What's up, buddy?" I asked, only slightly awake.

"I lost my sock," he said, looking me right in the eye.

Ah! He was sockless and I assumed he'd licked his wound raw again.

"How did you lose your sock?" I asked, not really expecting an answer. I swung my feet over the side…

Working on the future

Today, I spent a lot of time working on the future. I did a good bit of reach out to sponsors for BlogPaws and replies to some folks who discovered us and want to know more about us. Sometimes it's hard to decide how much to share - and how much to leave open so folks will…

Hi Yvonne, thanks for approving me for membership.  You may not remember me, we sat next to each other during lunch at the Pet Writing Conference in February.

You gave me some great tips about blogging and I'm not sure I thanked you properly.  So thank you!

Just being lazy at the moment. I haven't updated the Save This Pup blog in awhile and didn't want to send folks to one that is out of date. I've been up to my eyeballs in client work and haven't spent the time necessary on STP :(
