Qualifying Success - Ebony's First Agility Trial Unleased

Wow, I can’t believe my first agility trial has come and gone. I have so much to tell everyone I am not sure where to begin.  It was such a great experience! We got to spend the weekend with some of our fantastic friends. We even got to meet some new people and dogs who love agility as much as we do. I did not like being in my crate when my mom was not there.  I had to be very vocal about it to be sure that everybody knew I was unhappy. Someone was always there to be sure I was…

Hi, my name is Mo

Mo is different than any cat that I've ever had or even ever seen.  He has extremely thick, soft, long black hair but behind his ears, around his head, and down his chest he has a silver mane.  He has thick hair between his pads and toes, he doesn't shed, he chirrups instead of the usual meow - and he'll go on and on like he's talking about something, he has the sweetest disposition, and he is truly a lap kitty.  I've often wondered what kind of cat(s) he is.  I adopted him from a shelter…

Traveling With Your Cat Can Be Fun! (and Quiet Too!)

Have you ever noticed that dogs ride so well in vehicles but most cats do not? My kitties hated going places in my car in their cat carriers. They yowled every moment that my car was moving. Well here is my theory as to why cats do not travel well in vehicles. Dogs, being larger for the most part, are not upset by the motion of the vehicle because they can see out of the windows as the vehicle is moving and they can see that they are “going” somewhere. Whereas cats are put in cat carriers…

More on the Ferret Chariot

When Marcuz got hurt back in February and I had to rely on a friend to take me to the vet almost five days later. I realized that I needed to get a vehicle somehow thus the idea of campaigning for the Ferret Chariot came to be.

After searching many used car sites and the classifieds a fixed amount of 3000 dollars was reached as our goal amount. I set up a Chip Inaccount and started using twitter and my…

Hello my canine friends,

I love traveling, even if it is for official Puppy Kisses business. My appearance at the Global Pet Expo in Orlando on behalf of Puppy Kisses last month wasn’t a vacation, but it was great to see old friends, meet new fans, and mingle with some lovely people and pets.

Stop and Smell the Roses (and the grass, and the air, and the dead stuff)

My fascination with and love of dogs keeps me always pushing my education as a certified dog trainer forward. From ears to tail, there is much to learn and understand.  Lately, I’ve reading about the dog’s sense of smell. In fact, dogs use their noses more readily than they use their eyes. When you come into the room, your dog is more likely to recognize you by the way you smell than by the way look.  Don’t get me wrong, one of the unique…
