Moving in the right direction!

Pleased to say that the Dane Yard ( my Great Dane FB group ) now has a fundraising product!  The funds will be used for members in the group who have an emergency vet bill of $3000 or more.  I'm hoping that we don't have anyone very soon so we can build up "the kitty" in advance. The product is blank cards with a photo of Great Danes on them. There are 5 different sets. Please take a look! They would be good for all type of situations: Thank you to Vets, pet sitters, kennels, rescue workers,…

Your Vote Can Save Lives...

Hi! My name is Ali and I’m a volunteer at The Dog Bar. We’re a family owned, specialty pet supply store in Miami and have been in business since 1996. The Dog Bar strives to be part of the animal community and we are very concerned with issues of homeless and abandoned animals. This is why we don’t sell pets, but rather try to match people up with adoption alternatives available to them.

We deal primarily with stray, abandoned and abused domestic and feral animals. Animal care is…

Bea wants a BooBooLoon

A couple of months ago, my canine brother Spencer underwent surgery to remove mast cell tumor, which had the potential to become cancerous. I was worried and all (even though he’s bratty and annoying), but he recuperated in no time and I was back again to being the center of attention in the Howard household.

While Mr. Big Baby was recuperating, Mother bought him a pawsome device at the vet’s office called a …

Fundraiser for documentary

Hello. I'm new to the community and would like to start off by sharing my documentary fundraiser project.

I started a documentary about the horse slaughter pipeline during my last semester in college and would now like to finish a feature-length version this summer. I have a fundraiser project on Kickstarter to get this film moving along. If you are in any way interested, please check it out and share with your friends and blog communities.

Thanks in advance, and I look forward…
