Install WordPress
Once you have purchased your domain name and selected a host, it’s time to get WordPress installed on your site.
The dashboard of your host will have the option for “1-click install” of WordPress. Once you click, it will provide a series of steps that walk you through how to setup WordPress.
You’ll set up a login and password so that you may access your WordPress dashboard.
Confession. I paid to get someone to move my Blogger site. The weight was lifted from my shoulders, they did everything! If anyone lacks confidence get help!
As I didn’t have any experience in creating a website before I started mine in late 2015, I purchased a WP for Dummies book, which I found very helpful. I also read online tutorials at WP and on YouTube.
