• Dogs can get free holistic healing in Philadelphia on September 12, 2015. I’m taking a Healing Touch for Animals (HTA) class, which needs well-behaved dogs to volunteer for 8 hours of relaxation and healing. The work is worth several hundred dollars. (Info about HTA below)
• Dogs should not suffer from separation anxiety, since owners cannot stay in the classroom. (Students in this class are experienced at handling dogs.) Owners can visit with their dog during breaks (2 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon) and an hour at lunchtime. The hotel has a pool, and a nice lobby with Internet.
• Treatments can address specific concerns (e.g., fear of thunderstorms, arthritic joints). After HTA, I’ve seen dogs with arthritis move easier, and shy and anxious dogs become at ease.
