How do you bid your pet goodbye?

Just two days ago, I brought my cat to the animal hospital for ingesting a ribbon. They performed surgery on her and I thought everything was well. Just this morning, the vet called and told me that she didn’t make it. Her sudden passing left me devastated. She is only 1 year and 4 months old. My heart is hurting so bad, I wish she would come knocking on my door and say “Mommy I’m back!”

To all pet owners here who have lost their pet, how did you cope with your loss?

Yes. I don’t think I can bid her goodbye. Losing a pet is so painful. 🙁

Honestly, I don’t think you can bid a pet farewell.  I’m sure you are still thinking about your cat and will for many years.
