Shelters are flooded, pups are in foster homes, and humans are looking for lost pets. We are organizing a drive to raise supplies, and have a few resources to share for those affected by the SC flood.

Thanks Robbi! Our home state is a disaster! Milks resource page is the largest consolidated collection (upsetting how tiny) of animal resources right now and is being updated as we get the info. We’ve now moved focus from our small fb group to helping this larger new one, where his link is also in the pinned post of primary contact. Please let me know if I can help provide any further info! Tia!

Thank you for helping V. I am from Charleston, went to high school there, worked at the TV 2 & 5 there, so this hits close to my heart. Is the FB group only for people who are victims of the flooding? I was a bit confused since it was a closed group, I couldn’t even read about it. So I didn’t know what exactly it was for. I was looking to get more information. I want to post as many shelter links, etc on my Pixel Blue Eyes blog post tonight. Do any of the addresses have names of the buildings that the actual shelters are in that I can give to people? It would be helpful for folks to have a landmark, etc to look for when trying to find a shelter/place of refuge, etc. I’m just trying to provide as much information as possible for people who might ask questions.

Thank you so much for sharing this!

      Jenny

I looked up some of the addresses or just city names you had in your blog post V, and did further research including finding a few news articles, to find names of buildings, locations, etc to go with the addresses of pet friendly shelters etc. Here is the list I posted on my Pixel blog that includes some more addresses, links to their websites, and phone numbers too. You gave such a great foundation!!

Please feel free to share this additional information.

Here’s a link to my blog post. I’ll be adding more as I find out more… http://www.pixelblueeyes.com/2015/10/pixel-blue-eyes-helpful-resources-for-south-carolina-flood-victims.html
