Have you seen this infographic about social media postings: http://www.prdaily.com/Main/Articles/14901.aspx#. It’s rather interesting. The information about Pinterest and photos was particularly interesting — not what I would have expected.

Yes, I was surprised about people not wanting to look at human faces on Pinterest.  The times to post for all social media was also interesting.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing this! These are great tips.

I am currently looking to work on my blog. I think as a website it looks great.
I actually need more feedback on how easy it is to navigate for people who visit the site.

Here is a link to my site if you ever want to check it out.

I’ll check it out. I’m about to try SurveyMonkey for the first time to get some feedback on a website that I’m getting ready to launch.  SurveyMonkey is free at the basic level.  I found it easy to use and very helpful in terms of suggesting questions that were easy to edit.  I had put together a list of people and emails over a period of time that I uploaded. I’m going to send them a set of simple instructions for how to explore the site, specific activities I want them to do and letting them know that the survey will be coming about a week later.  We’ll see what the response rate it.

I really like the way your site looks.  Let me explore a little more deeply over the next several days so I can give you more educated feedback.

This was very interesting!  I’ve definitely noticed that the pictures I post on Facebook really drive whether or not it’s “liked” and “shared.”  The cuter, the better!  People also seem to really respond to the “1 like = 1 respect” type of thing.  So, I usually attach the website with a request like that and a really adorable picture.  It definitely seems to do the trick!

I’ve run across another infographic that gives you all the dimensions for the various graphic elements of banners, photos, profile photos, etc., for the different social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, et al.  Looks like it will be very helpful: http://www.lunametrics.com/blog/2012/11/12/final-social-media-sizing-cheat-sheet/#sr=gp&m=r&cp=%28opu%20tfu%29&ct=-tmc&ts=1378403328

I love infographics, I just wish the damned things were ‘printable’ and not seven feet long. These would be inspiring to have up on a wall but, no, its “squint at the computer screen until you reach the bottom”

Hey, Jeannette. Thank you! That would be awesome if you could give me more feedback on the site! Let us know when you launch your site. I love checking out how people get started and what they have going. Everyone always has something new or something that works really well to help us all out as bloggers.

I’ll also be more than happy to take your survey 🙂
